Khaduly (also spelled Khaduli) is a village in Ullahpara Upazila, Sirajganj District, in the Rajshahi Division of Bangladesh.[1]
Geography
[edit]Khaduly is located in central Bangladesh, within Sirajganj District, which is part of the Rajshahi Division. The village is positioned at approximately 24°17′N 89°29′E / 24.29°N 89.48°E, situated near the Jamuna River. The area experiences a tropical monsoon climate with hot, humid summers and mild winters.[2]
Administration
[edit]Khaduly falls under the jurisdiction of Ullahpara Upazila, which is one of the sub-districts in Sirajganj District. The local administration is managed under the Union Parishad system, which governs rural areas in Bangladesh.[3]
Economy
[edit]The economy of Khaduly is primarily based on agriculture, with rice, jute, and vegetables being the main crops. Some residents are also involved in small-scale trade and fishing.[4]
Demographics
[edit]As of the last census, the population of Khaduly consists of approximately 5,000 residents. The village is home to a predominantly Bengali-speaking Muslim population, with a minority of Hindus and other religious groups.[5]
Education
[edit]Khaduly has a few primary schools and a secondary school that serve the local population. For higher education, students travel to nearby towns such as Ullahpara or Sirajganj.[6]
