Kakar District

Kakar District (Pashto: کاکړ), (Persian: کاکر), also Khak-e Afghan (خاک افغان) is a district of Zabul province in southern Afghanistan. It has a population of about 23,400 as of 2013. The majority of the population belong from Kakar tribes and the other tribes of the district are Khowazak, Kharoti and Hatwal. The district is very famous by their Agriculture especially dry fruits and hospitality. This is the second educated district of Zabul province. The most influential persons of Zabul province like member of Parliament Sardar Khodai Dad Khan, Sardar Karim Dad Khan, The tribe chief was Sardar Izatullah khan kakar who was died in 2023. Sardar Izatullah khan Kakar is a great poet and writer, he is written 3 books. The president of Zabul University Rahmatullah Kakar are belong to this district.

The biography of Sardar Izatullah Kakar The history remembered the personalities who has a great contribution the to the societies. I want to write about a prominent Pashtun political leader and tribal head, Sardar Izatullah Jogezai Kakar. He was born on 30/04/1929 in Maska village, Kakar district Zabul Afghanistan. His father was Wakil Sardar Khudaidad khan Jogezai Kakar and his grandfather was Sardar Abdul Rahim Khan. Sardar Izatullah Jogezai Kakar dedicated his life to serving his community and resolving tribal disputes through the Jarga system. Although he himself was not educated, he valued education greatly and ensured that all of his family members received an education. He has motivated thosends of people to send their children to schools, collages and Universities. In addition to his leadership and mediation skills, Sardar Izatullah Jogezai Kakar was also a talented Pashto poet, having written three books of poetry. He has written about the Pashtun culture, the social norms and values of Pashtun society, respect for elders, women, teachers and the real Islamic schoolers. He has declared their thoughts in poem to the people of Afghan society to loyal for the worshipping of Holy God, respect for Holy Quran and Suna and do work hard for the development of Afghanistan. His contribution in academic area and problem solving will be always remember in Afghan history. He has three sons and five daughters and most of them are well educated. Has elder son is Rahmatullah Kakar who is the founder of Zabul Institute of Higher Education. Sardar Izatullah Jogezai Kakar's contributions to Pashtun history and culture are significant and should be recognized. His leadership, mediation skills, and dedication to education are admirable and serve as an inspiration to many. Sardar Izatullah Kakar He passed away in Kabul on 29/12/2022 at the age of 93, and he was barred in Charahi Qamber graveyard. Leaving behind a legacy that continues to inspire and guide the Pashtun community. His contributions to Afghan society and the Pashtun culture will always be remembered. Overall, Sardar Izatullah Jogezai Kakar was a highly respected and influential figure in the Pashtun community. His dedication to resolving disputes and promoting education has left a lasting impact on Afghan society. His poetry also serves as a valuable record of Pashtun culture and values.
