Homevista Decor and Furnishings (better known as HomeLane) is a Interior design and renovation company, headquartered in Bengaluru, India.[2][3][4]
History
[edit]HomeLane was founded by Srikanth Iyer, Rama Harinath, Prabhu Venkatesh, and Vivek Parashuram in 2014.[2] HomeLane initiated its operations in Bengaluru in 2014 and has since expanded to several prominent cities, including Chennai, Hyderabad, and Mumbai. In 2024, HomeLane operates 44 experience centers across India. The company's valuation is said to have attained roughly $7 billion.[5][6]
In February 2015, the company secured ₹27 crore in funding from investors such as Aarin Capital and Sequoia Capital. HomeLane has expanded its operations to over 22 cities across India.[5]
The virtual technology startup Doowup was purchased by HomeLane in 2015. For $13.8 million, HomeLane purchased Capricoast, an online marketplace for home furnishings, in 2017. Additionally, the business collaborated with Urban Ladder, a retailer of furnishings and décor.[7][8][9][10]
In 2021, Mahendra Singh Dhoni was appointed as a brand ambassador. In November 2023, HomeLane secured $105 million, subsequently obtaining ₹225 crore in September 2024, which facilitated the acquisition of Design Café.[11][12][13][14]
