Grits & Eggs is a podcast hosted by former Deante’ Kyle with assistance by Big Kat. The podcast is simultaneously released on YouTube and available podcast platforms.
History
[edit]Kyle started uploading videos on the short-form online video platform TikTok opining on current events or just giving unique stances on certain topics. The show originated as a way for Deante' Kyle to get out his more "raw and unfiltered" thoughts and opinions. Most of the topics relate to pop culture, current events, conspiracies, and anything else he can think of. More recently, he and Big Kat have now started offering various advice, like relationship or career, to listeners and now with the assistance of guests. This latest segment supplements their mission to "resonate with our community."[1]
From the official website, the podcast celebrates the dynamic intersection of Black culture, pop culture, hip-hop and other topics. One segment involves a Top 5 ranking of cultural trailblazers.[1]
In May 2023, Kyle converted his personal YouTube channel into the hosting site for the podcast. He was previously releasing music and freestyles on this channel.[2]
