The Glendale City Council is the lawmaking body for the city government of Glendale, California. It has 5 members.[1]

History

The City of Glendale was incorporated on February 16, 1906, and was governed by a Board of Trustees from 1906 to 1921. Upon the ratification of the city's municipal charter on March 29, 1921, the Board of Trustees became known as the City Council.[2]
