The football tournament at the 2028 Summer Olympics will be held in Los Angeles and other cities of the United States in July 2028.

Two different tournaments will be held in this sport: men's and women's.

United States is the women's defending champions. Spain is the men's defending champions.

Venues

As of July 2025, Rose Bowl is the only stadium which was comfirmed and will hosted the knockout stage matches. The other stadiums of the tournament is yet to be decided later.

Qualification

The FIFA Council has not yet approved the final allocation of places for the Olympic football tournaments.
