Technische Daten: Kessel-Druck 15,2 bar, Durchmesser der Antriebsräder 1880 mm, drei Zylinder mit 533 mm Durchmesser und 660 mm Kolbenhub, Lentz-Ventilsteuerung mit rotierender Nockenventilen, Dienstgewicht der Lokomotive mit Tender 149,69 t, Länge über Puffer 22.450 mm
English: London and North Eastern Railway (LNER) express locomotive Class P2 No. 2001 "Cock o' the North", built in 1934 by the railway's own workshops in Doncaster, wheel arrangement 2-8-2 (UIC 2'D1 h3), constructed in 1934 in the LNER workshops in Doncaster to the design of Nigel Gresley, converted to Pacific locomotive A2/2 by Edward Thompson in 1944, retired in 1960. Technical data: boiler pressure 220 psi (15.2 bar), diameter of driving wheels 6 ft 2 in (1880 mm), three cylinders with a diameter of 21 in (533 mm) and a stroke of 26 in (660 mm), rotary cam poppet valves gear system Lentz, service weight of the locomotive with tender 165 tons 11 cwts (149.7 t), length over buffers 73 ft 8 3/8 in (22.450 mm). |
