Favartia brevicula is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Muricidae, the murex snails or rock snails.[1] The shell used to belong to the subfamily Muricopsinae,[1][4]: 294, pl. 63 figs 1-13 but now belongs to the subfamily Aspellinae.[1]

Distribution
[edit]This species distributed in the West Pacific Ocean[3] as well as the Indian Ocean.[5] It was seen in Taiwan,[6] Indonesia,[6][7] the Philippines,[3] Solomon Islands,[3] and southern Africa.[1][5]: 92 They habitate on shallow seabed.[6]
