The FIFA Women's Champions Cup is an international women's football competition organized by FIFA that will debut in 2026. The tournament features the champion clubs from each of the six continental confederations, competing annually—except in years when the quadrennial FIFA Women's Club World Cup is held—to determine the world's premier women's club team.[1]

History

On 5 March 2025, FIFA announced the introduction of the Women's Champions Cup as part of its commitment to enhance women's club football globally. The inaugural tournament is scheduled for 2026, marking a significant milestone in providing a global platform for women's club teams to compete at the highest level.[2]

Format

The competition involves six teams, each representing one of FIFA's continental confederations. In the inaugural competition the semi-finals and final will be played at a neutral venue, and structured as follows:
