Yudhishtir Chandra Biswas

Yudhishtir Chandra Biswas (born October 11, 2006) is a Bangladeshi climate activist ^[1], youth advocate, and policy negotiator. He is known for his involvement in international climate initiatives and policy discussions, particularly within the framework of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). Biswas is the Founder and Executive Director of the Young Climate Action Network (YOUCAN).

Early Life and Education

Yudhishtir Chandra Biswas was born in Nosratpur-205, Noorpur UP, Shaistaganj, Habiganj, Bangladesh. He developed an interest in environmental sustainability and youth leadership from an early age. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Social Sciences (BSS) in Environment and Development Studies at United International University.

Activism and Career

Biswas has been actively engaged in climate advocacy^[3] since 2020. He has participated in UN climate processes, including the UNFCCC Conference of the Parties (COP) negotiations. His work primarily focuses on policy advocacy, youth engagement, and promoting equitable climate solutions.
