Virohan Institute of Allied Medical Sciences, commonly known as Virohan, is a healthcare education institute in India that offers various degree, diploma and certificate courses to students looking for careers in the healthcare sector. Virohan offers NSDC (National Skill Development Corporation) certified Diploma courses and UGC approved Bachelor’s courses for students through videos, gamification, and real-time tests. The institute meets other educational needs through its myClassroom kit, a proprietary, end-to-end Hybrid Training solution.[1]
The institute has partnerships with over 2000 hospitals and laboratories across India, which facilitate internships and placement opportunities for students. The institute claims a placement rate of 98%, with its graduates finding employment in various healthcare settings.[2]

History
[edit]Virohan was founded in 2018 by Kunaal Dudeja (CEO), Nalin Saluja (CTO), and Archit Jayaswal (CFO). Kunaal, one of the co-founders, had approximately 15 years of experience in the retail industry. Nalin, another co-founder, is an engineer with expertise in technology and product development. The third co-founder, Archit, is a chartered accountant.[5]
It emerged as a prominent name in training allied healthcare professionals, a sector that became increasingly vital during the pandemic. During the global COVID-19 pandemic, Virohan provided vocational training for paramedics and allied healthcare practitioners to address the increased demand for healthcare workers.[6]
The startup was selected as one of the 20 Indian startups for the fourth cohort of the Google for Startups Accelerator program in 2020. The initiative was aimed at helping startups innovate and adapt in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.[7]
Courses
