Laura Day[2][3] (born May 16, 2004), better known as twikipedia and delta,[4] is a Brazilian experimental musician and record producer from Niterói, Rio de Janeiro.[5][6]
twikipedia is credited for the progression of hyperpop in the early 2020s following COVID-19.[7][8] twikipedia has taken inspiriation from Parannoul's album “To See The Next Part of the Dream," [4][8] tapping into to her[c][9] fondness of Brazilian bands.[4] She has worked with numerous artists such as midwxst, SEBii and ericdoa among others.
Career
[edit]"for the rest of your life" was released on May 10, 2024, by twikipedia. The album is consistent in showcasing elements of indie rock, pop-punk, etc.[10] "for the rest of your life" gained traction leading it to be most successful album by twikipedia to date.[10][11][12] The album would also be released as a CD-R and vinyl by Reasonable Records.[13][14] windchimes is categorized by its guitar textures, especially the primary motif, which appears to flap and crumple like a flag blowing in the wind.[15] Frank Ude of Doth Music said the album is a "punk and shoegaze" combined record that "balances peacefulness with an attention-challenging edge."[16]
twikipedia produced kuru's song “if u cant change i wont either” which ties everything together: a jumble of choppy breakbeats and agonizing lyrics.[17]
