Three Defence Forces of India

The Three Defence Forces of India comprise the Indian Army, Indian Navy, and Indian Air Force. These forces are responsible for defending the country’s sovereignty, maintaining peace, and conducting military operations. They operate under the Ministry of Defence (India).

Indian Army

The Indian Army is the land-based branch of the Indian Armed Forces. It is the largest and oldest service, tasked with protecting India's borders and conducting counter-insurgency operations.

Indian Navy
