The Dubai ruler, Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum’s daughter Princess Latifa was helped to leave the country by her friend Tiinia Jauhiainen in 2018 on a rigid inflatable boat, only for both women to be forcibly returned and interrogated. In 2020, a London high court judge, Sir Andrew McFarlane, accepted as proven allegations made by Princess Haya, the sheikh’s former wife, that the sheikh ordered Latifa’s abduction.[1]

Production

Shapero when writing the script worked closely with Tiina Jauhiainen on the project. The series is developed by Yellow Film & TV, with producers Jackie Larkin and Olli Haikka. Executive producers are Jackie Larkin and Olli Haikka.[2]
