Draft:Teodosije, Metropolitan of Zeta

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Teodosije, Metropolitan of Zeta (Serbian Cyrillic: Теодосије, митрополит зетски) was a Serbian Orthodox hierach of the Metropolitanate of Zeta from 1446 and on[1]. As Jeftimije's successor, he was a contemporary of Nikon of Jerusalem. Previously in 1421, Zeta was under the Crnojevići when it established unification with the Serbian Despotate during bellicose times when invaders began descending from the northwest west (Republic of Venice) and the southeast (Ottoman Turks). Teodosije was still in tenure as a metropolitan of Zeta during the fall of Constantinople in 1453. [2]
