Comment: Still sourced to crypto sites, passing mentions in quasi-RSes and RS sources that don't actually mention the article topic. Suggest stripping back to strictly substantial RS coverage and no other sourcing, then see if you have an article. David Gerard (talk) 09:25, 8 June 2023 (UTC)

Spells of Genesis is a mobile trading card game using blockchain technology[1][2]released the 20.04.2017 and developed by the Swiss based studio EverdreamSoft.[3]The game used the Counterparty blockchain to create tokenized-assets in the form of a collection of collectible cards tradable between players.[3] The gameplay combines the strategic aspect of a trading card game with the point-and-shoot aspect of an arcade game[4].The game evolves in a heroic fantasy world allegorically representing the blockchain ecosystem, like the SATOSHICARD depicting Satoshi Nakamoto.
History
[edit]Spells of Genesis was crowdfunded by the community in 2015 through an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) of their digital currency BitCrystals (BCY) and raised 974 Bitcoin (BTC).[5]
The first card of the collection released the 11.03.2015 was the FDCARD[6][7], which was a collaboration with the project FoldingCoin. This project rewarded their community for sharing their computing power to virtually build a supercomputer and find cures for cancer[8]. The FDCARD was freely distributed to all the participants of the FoldingCoin initiative.
In 2022, EverdreamSoft expanded its Heroic-Fantasy world "Askian" to the Metaverse TheSandbox and built a place where the community could meet in an immersive 3D environment.[9]
