Soumen Chakraborty was born in Mednipur, West Bengal, India on October 17, 1998.

Soumen is an Indian actor, Mainly work in Bengali language Theatre and Film. His Debut film was Hubba by Bratya Basu . He is a popular face in kolkata theatre Community. His role Panchanan Karmakar in the play aksharik became huge hit among all over the Bengal and Mumbai and NSD . He is also a renowned voice actor in Bengal, He works with Radio mirchi For their Successful Audio Drama Program Sunday Suspense. His Upcoming Film is Srijit Mukherji's Killbill Society. He is also Doing a Web series Jaaz city with Saumik Sen who is the creator of Muss hit Series Jublee in Amazon prime video.

His Running Theatre productions are Hulusthul, Bhalobasa , Aksharik , November .
