Serbian Orthodox parishes in Latin America are under the omophorion of His Grace Bishop Kirilo Bojović of the Serbian Orthodox Eparchy of Buenos Aires and South America of the Serbian Orthodox Church in North and South America, a constituent part of the Serbian Orthodox Church (Patriarchate).
Argentina.[1] has 20 ecclesiastical institutions (churches, chapels, missions, and a monastery) in the Serbian Orthodox Eparchy of Buenos Aires and South America, and 57 parishes and missions in other countries of South and Central America and two in the Carribean (Dominican Republic and Sint Maarten).
In 1889 the first church community was established in the city of Buenos Aires with the church of Saint Sava, built during World War II. It is considered one of the oldest Orthodox churches in Argentina and the rest of South and Central America and the Caribbean (excluding Mexico which is under the jurisdiction of bishop Maksim Vasiljević of the Serbian Orthodox Eparchy of Western America[2]).

Currently, both the Serbian Orthodox Church (established in 1949) and the Serbian-Brasilian club in Sao Paulo[42]continue to serve as a gathering place for earlier Serbian Orthodox emigrants from the former Yugoslavia. In the province of Agreste: St. Symeon of Dajbabe Orthodox Church, established in 2012 in Caruaru [43] was built as a chapel of the Serbian Orthodox Eparchy of Buenos Aires and South America under the aegis of the Patriachate of Serbia. This chapel marked the beginning of the Serbian Orthodox mission to the Agreste region of Brazil when it was only used for a few years before a permanent church, dedicated to St. John Chrysostom, was constructed in a better location in the city [44]. The St. Symeon of Dajbabe is now being restored.
Peru
[edit]Peru (5)[45]: Transfiguration of the Lord Missionary Parish and the St. Matrona of Moscow Russian Orthodox Community[46] (under the jurisdiction of Bishop Kirilo Bojović), both in Lima, the third most populated city in Latin America with 9-million; Holy Trinity Orthodox Church, Cusco, Department of Cusco[47]; the Monastery of Mother Of God and Consoler Of The Afflicted Monastery, Ayacucho, Department of Ayacucho[48]; and the Parish of Saint Michael the Archangel (Parroquia de San Miguel Arcangel, Lima, Peru)[49].
Chile
[edit]Chile (2)[50]: St. Nikolai of Serbia Orthodox Church, Santiago, and the Serbian Orthodox Monastery of the Resurrection of Christ in the province of Aysén[51], currently the only existent Christian Orthodox Monastery in the Republic of Chile[52]. In 2015, the construction was initiated by the late Archimandrite Agapit Tairov, a Russian who came to Chile with his brother monk Jovan Tairov, who now looks after the monastery.
Uruguay has only two churches (Russian and Greek), both located in Montevideo. The Russian Orthodox Church of the Resurrection, Montevideo now also serves the spiritual needs of the Serbian community there.
Paraguay has only one Orthodox church (Russian), located in Asuncion: The Church of the Protection of the Mother of God[53]. It is shared between Russian and Serbian emigrant communities.
Ecuador
