Biography: Saqib Rehman (born October 20, 1987) is a Pakistani cyclist and adventurer known for his long-distance cycling expeditions. He hails from Multan, Pakistan, and has gained recognition for his endurance and passion for the sport. Rehman serves as a Peace Ambassador at the Help For Human Organization.

Multan to Makkah Journey
[edit]In 2023, Saqib Rehman embarked on an ambitious journey from Multan to Makkah[1] on a road bike, covering approximately 4,000 kilometers over 85 days. His route took him through Iran, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Saudi Arabia. He crossed into Iran on March 10, traveled from Bandar Abbas to Sharjah on March 23, and departed from the UAE on May 18 before reaching Makkah. Upon his arrival in Madinah, he was warmly welcomed by Saudi citizens and members of the Pakistani community.
This journey was supported by the Special Communications Organization (SCO), which provided him with a road bike to help him accomplish his goal. Saqib undertook this journey to promote cycling as a healthy, eco-friendly, and cost-effective mode of transportation and to inspire others to pursue their dreams.
Cycling to K2 Base Camp
[edit]Saqib Rehman previously achieved the extraordinary feat of becoming the first person in the world to reach the K2 base camp (21,000 feet) on a mountain bike. This expedition, completed in November 2018, took three months and required him to navigate treacherous terrains and harsh weather conditions.

[edit]In addition to his long-distance cycling expeditions, Saqib successfully scaled the 4,000-foot-high Jamshoro Wall on his bicycle, further proving his dedication to extreme cycling challenges.

He planned to undertake this expedition in June or July 2019 and sought financial support from both government and private sectors to accomplish this unprecedented feat. He emphasized the physical and mental preparation required for such a challenge and expressed his commitment to spreading a message of peace through his cycling performances.
