Ruben George Jonathan Amenyogbo (born December 21, 1989) is a German- American businessman. He is the chairman and CEO of ARCHITECT.[1], a global private equity firm he established in 2024. According to Swiss documentary "Reclaiming Cocoa" his family office holds substantial investments in the cocoa industry across West Africa.[2]
Amenyogbo has been the face of global international campaigns including Jean Paul Gaultier[3], Pepe Jeans[4] Calvin Klein and Highsnobiety.
Amenyogbo is a contributor to the World Economic Forum.[5]
Education
[edit]Amenyogbo graduated MPhil from Cambridge University[6][7] and attended the PhD Engineering at the Cambridge Department of Engineering (IFM) [8] . In 2020 he intermitted his doctoral studies to focus on supporting the family business.
Investment career
[edit]In 2015, Amenyogbo joined private equity firm Rocket Internet. He was part of the USD 586 million acquisition of Delivery Hero.[9] Amenyogbo joined Delivery Hero in 2016 in its run-up to IPO[10]. In 2017 Amenyogbo joined the Boston Consulting Group working out of the New York City office. From 2021 Amenyogbo led Investments for Protocol Labs, a Palo Alto based R&D lab backed by Union Square Ventures, Andreessen Horowitz and Sequoia Capital.[11][12] Amenyogbo syndicated multiple major investment partnerships including a multi-year deal with a16z.[13] In 2024 he established global private equity firm ARCHITECT.[1]
Personal life
[edit]Amenyogbo is in a long term partnership with former tennis player and internet personality Alessa Winter[14][15]. Amenyogbo is brother to internet personality Julia Dalia[16]
