Draft:Rich Hop

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Richard Wheeler, better known as Rich Hop, for his preference of using the "short hop" shot while playing the sport of American Handball.

Born & raised in New York City during the 1980's, he took a strong liking to basketball & eventually Wallball, aka Handball.

In 2019, Hop transitioned into organizing Handball exhibition matches where he would offer cash prizes to the winners. Modeling his way of giving back to the sport he so beloved, with boxing promotion in mind. The matches occurred frequently throughout the summer at St. Johns park in Crown Heights Brooklyn, & Hop labeled his operations "Handball Toast Promotions".

Hop officially forms his business in July 2020 under the name, Wallball Toast Promotions.

In August of 2020, a week after tragically loosing a fellow Handball player to a random park murder during Covid, Hop freakishly tears his knee ligaments while playing a game, & is sidelined for months.

Believing that his athletic life is finished, & that the sport could be used for a greater good, he then starts taking handball more seriously & ties charitable causes along with health awareness to his events. Today Rich Hop, is known as one of the most respected Handball promoters in the sport. Citing his mentors & Host he admired as Paul Williams, Raul Fantauzzi, Veronica Figueroa, Richie Vera, & Carlos Centeno.

Creating history once again, carrying on the handball legacy which Dave Andre has laid the foundation for. All records of the Toast Pro Pyramid will be added to the same collection of records from Dave Andre's original Peak Pro Pyramid.
