Oswald the Lucky Rabbit is an upcoming American photorealistically animated television series created by Jon Favreau for the streaming service Disney+, based on the character of the same name.
Development on the series began in March 2025 and had been priority since Disney acquired the trademark in 2006.

[edit]Walt Disney Studios was revealed to be developing a live-action/photorealistic animated series based on Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, for the streaming service Disney+. Jon Favreau served as the writer and executive producer.[1]
