From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Navattic is an American software company that develops a platform for creating interactive product demonstrations. It is headquartered in New York City and was part of Y Combinator’s Winter 2021 startup accelerator cohort.[1]

History

[edit]

Navattic was founded in 2020 by Chris Hoyle, Neil McLean, and Randy Frank.[2] In 2021, the company announced it had raised $1.2 million in seed funding led by 645 Ventures.[3] As of 2024, Navattic offers tools for marketing and sales teams to build interactive demos without requiring custom code.[4]

Product

[edit]

Navattic provides software that allows users to create interactive product demonstrations, typically used in sales and marketing workflows. The product enables non-technical users to capture application screens, add step-by-step annotations, and share guided walkthroughs of software products.

A 2025 review by Arcade noted that Navattic’s platform includes features such as HTML-based screen capture, a drag-and-drop editing interface, and personalization tools. The review highlighted the platform's usability for marketers and sales teams, and its integrations with tools like Salesforce and HubSpot. The same review mentioned that the platform may have limitations in visual customization and may require more setup time compared to alternatives.[5]

In a 2025 comparison published by HowdyGo, Navattic was evaluated alongside other demo software platforms. The article described Navattic as well-suited for teams seeking ease of use and standard CRM integrations, but noted limitations such as mobile performance and design constraints.[6]

TechStartups included Navattic in a 2023 industry comparison of interactive demo tools. The publication described Navattic as one of several emerging products in the no-code demo software market, offering browser-based functionality designed for sales automation.[7]

Reception

[edit]

Navattic has been reviewed by multiple independent industry observers in the interactive demo software domain.

In January 2023, a comparison in TechStartups evaluated Navattic alongside Reprise, Walnut, and Demostack, placing Navattic within the broader marketplace of demo automation tools.[8]

Arcade’s March 2025 review described Navattic’s core functionality — HTML capture, click-through simulation, personalization, and CRM integrations (Salesforce, HubSpot) — while noting limitations in visual design flexibility and pricing structure.[9]

A June 2025 comparison by HowdyGo contrasted Navattic and Walnut, citing Navattic’s ease-of-use and seamless CRM integration, but raised concerns over mobile support and occasional UI lags.[10]

An overview of platform platforms by Hexus AI also mentioned Navattic’s interactive demo capabilities, favorable usability, but noted challenges around pricing tiers and management of large demo libraries.[11]
