Draft:NHS University Hospitals of Liverpool Group

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

NHS University Hospitals of Liverpool Group (UHLG) was formed on 1 November 2024, when Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust came together with Liverpool Women's NHS Foundation Trust.[1] There are future plans for all five Adult Acute and Specialist NHS Trusts in Liverpool to integrate into the city-wide hospital group.[2]

The Group currently operates from four hospital sites: Aintree University Hospital, Broadgreen Hospital, Liverpool Women's Hospital and the Royal Liverpool University Hospital, alongside a host of community services.

Officials from each Trust will help develop a five-year strategy for the region to meet a number of collective ambitions. These include reducing duplication and fragmentation between the different current trusts and moving towards a single, electronic patient record and digital strategy.[3]
