Music for Future Cultural Foundation (M4FF) is a non-profit organization based in Armenia, founded in 2019. It is dedicated to supporting Armenian culture, with a primary focus on classical academic music. By uniting around classical music to create a bright future for Armenian talents[1]
Mission

- Ensure educational and professional growth through masterclasses and lectures.
- Provide international-level experience by organizing educational trips abroad.
- Foster communication skills through foreign language lessons.
- Pave the way to the international stage by offering performance opportunities in Armenia and abroad.
- Introduce young musicians to the world’s finest schools by providing access to top classical concerts.
- Nurture well-rounded musicians through museum visits.
- Support the goals of Armenian talents by providing scholarships
History
[edit]The Foundation was established in 2019 on the initiative of Sergey Smbatyan, Artistic Director and Principal Conductor of the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra. He also serves as the President of the Foundation’s Board of Trustees.[2]
Since 2020, the Foundation has run an educational and development program aimed at fostering the professional growth of young Armenian musicians.[3]
Structure

Educational and Development Program
[edit]The core program is designed for young musicians aged 10 to 16 from Yerevan and the regions of Armenia, covering instruments such as violin, viola, cello, flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, French horn, trumpet, trombone, percussion, piano, and harp.[2]
Program Components
[edit]The program provides seven main areas of support:
- Master classes
- Educational Travel
- Stage experience
- Concert attendance
- Museum visits
- Foreign language instruction
- Financial and material assistance
Master classes are led by internationally recognized musicians and educators from countries including the United States, United Kingdom, Japan, South Korea, Austria, Germany, and others. Notable instructors have included Gil Shaham, Dora Schwarzberg, Steven Isserlis, Gautier Capuçon, Jasmine Choi, Andreas Ottensamer, Hansjörg Schellenberger, and Pavel Gililov.[4]
Students participate in concerts in Armenia and abroad, including venues such as the Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall, Komitas Chamber Music Hall, and Arno Babajanyan Concert Hall. They have performed with the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra and international ensembles, including at the Middle East Classical Music Academy (MECMA) in Dubai.[5][6]
The Foundation also supports attendance at major festivals such as:
