Mo Xiang Tong Xiu (Chinese: 墨香銅臭) is a pseudonymous Chinese writer most noted as the author of danmei novels Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation, Heaven Official's Blessing, and The Scum Villain's Self-Saving System. Her novels are popular both in China and internationally and have been translated into many languages.
Career
[edit]Mo Xiang Tong Xiu writes danmei, a genre of fiction depicting romance between male characters. She began publishing web novels on the online platform Jinjiang Literature City in 2014 with the serialization of The Scum Villain's Self-Saving System.
Seven Seas Entertainment has published English translations of Mo Xiang Tong Xiu's first three novels. When the first volumes of the three novels were published in 2021, they all reached the New York Times Best Seller list in the same week.[1][2]
