Mitch Vane is a multidisciplinary artist based in Melbourne. She has had a long career working as an illustrator and artist. She is interested in all forms of visual story-telling using a variety of mediums including clay, dip pen and Indian ink.[1]

Mitch illustrated a series of 12 Zodiac themed stamps for Australia Post and has created many children's books with publishers both in Australia and the U.S.

She has worked with many authors both in Australia and the US and collaborated with Age columnist Danny Katz to create the award winning Little Lunch series which won the Young Australians' Best Book Award[2], 2005, and has been adapted into a 28 episode TV series currently available on ABC3 and Netflix.
