Jesse Cleveland Hart (July 25, 1864 – March 6, 1933)[1] was an associate justice of the Arkansas Supreme Court from 1907 to 1927 and chief justice from 1927 to 1933.[2]

Born in Dardanelle, Arkansas,[1] Hart attended the University of Arkansas and graduated from Vanderbilt Law School in 1890. He was elected to be a Chancery Judge for the First Chancery Circuit in 1903 and served until 1907. Hart was appointed to be an Associate Justice in 1907 and served until his appointment as Chief Justice in 1927. Hart served as Chief Justice until his death in 1933.[1]}}
