Jacada Travel
[edit]Jacada Travel is a luxury travel company creating tailor made, travel experiences across 7 continents worldwide. Founded in 2008 by Alex Malcolm, the company specialises in creating bespoke travel experiences. A Jacada trip emphasises benefiting both the people and the places you visit, with particular focus on Positive Impact travel.
History
[edit]Jacada Travel was established in 2008 by Alex Malcolm, who was inspired by his travels in Brazil with local friends to create a travel company that offers tailor made unique experiences. Initially focused on trips to Brazil, Jacada was based in a London office. During the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020, Jacada Travel entered administration, and was purchased by Wilderness Safaris in May 2020.[1]. In 2025, Jacada Travel operates as part of the Wilderness Group, with an office in Shoreditch, London and 120[2] colleagues across multiple locations worldwide.
Wilderness Group
[edit]In 2020, Jacada Travel joined the Wilderness Group, an organisation with nearly 40 years of experience in offering luxury travel options with a focus on wilderness and wildlife conservation. Alongside sister company Yellow Zebra, Jacada is part of a group that’s on a mission to help protect Earth’s ultimate, untamed places[3].

4. Responsible travel[5]: Jacada views Positive Impact tourism as a tool to facilitate an exchange of ideas and perspectives – and preserve culture, history, biodiversity and heritage. Jacada’s defining Positive Impact principles are: Supporting Communities, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Climate and Environment, Child Safeguarding, and Animal Welfare.
5. Private luxury trips: Jacada trips are meaningful and memorable hand-picking exclusive places to stay and the most uplifting experiences.

This knowledge and passion allows them to create unique experiences for their clients. This personal expertise allows fully customised experiences, real time support and communication whilst in destination to ensure seamless and stress-free travel.
The company focuses on responsible travel that is beneficial both for the traveller and the destination. In 2023, the company appointed a Positive Impact coordinator[6], and in February 2024 they launched The Positive Impact Collection[7]. The collection is a curated selection of accommodation properties dedicated to making positive change. Jacada emphasises reducing carbon footprints, conserving natural resources, promoting community engagement and fostering cultural preservation.
