Draft:Hervé Deville
Submission declined on 11 March 2025 by Valereee (talk). This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.

Comment: We need three instances of significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the article subject. The sources all appear to be bare mentions, interviews, and affiliated sources. Valereee (talk) 14:20, 11 March 2025 (UTC)

Hervé Deville was born in Saint-Étienne.[2][citation needed]
Career
[edit]His culinary journey was shaped by Claude Legras, chef of Le Floris in Geneva, Switzerland.[3]
He worked in the kitchen of Éric Fréchon, a three-Michelin Star chef.[4] Deville later moved to Dublin, Ireland, where he spent three years as sous-chef at Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud[5], Ireland’s first two-Michelin-star establishment.[6] He was then head chef for two years at Wenge in Luxembourg.[7]
His reputation caught the attention of a head hunter seeking a kitchen chef for Pierre Gagnaire's restaurant in Moscow. However, after a brief meeting, Gagnaire extended an offer for Deville to join his London establishment instead.[8] Deville had worked for Gagnaire as a teenager in their shared hometown of Saint-Étienne.[9]
