Hassan Raza Khan (pronounced həsən rəzɑː xɑːn; born January 12, 1983) is a Nepalease actor and Film-Producer.[1] Known for his lead roles in the films Alvida (2015)[2] and Romeo (2017). His performance in Alvida earned him the Best Debut Award at the 2015 NEFTA Film Awards in Doha, Qatar.[3]
Career

[edit]He made his debut as an actor with the film Alvida, which explored themes of interfaith relationships. His performance in the film earned him the Best Debut Actor award at the 8th NEFTA Awards.
Romeo
[edit]Following Alvida, Hassan took on the lead role in the film Romeo, film was initially to be directed by Narayan Puri, but later directed by Shankar Karki.[4] The film, written by Amardeep Sapkota, was given to Hassan Raza Khan by director Narayan Puri as a birthday gift.[1]
Romeo faced allegations of plagiarized background music, leading to disappointment among audiences. The producer and lead actor, Hassan Raja Khan stated that copyright issues forced the removal of certain background scores in theaters.[5]
The movie, featured music composed by Suresh Adhikari. The movie gained attention for its song Lyang Lyang[6], which became popular on YouTube.[7] Romeo featured actors Nisha Adhikari, Oshima Banu, and Melina Manandhar.[8]
Departure
[edit]Hassan upcoming project Departure, which he announced at the 6th Global Nepal Film Awards in the United States. The film will be produced by Sahasn Group and will also be co-produced by Dubai's, Kibra Events Organization.[9]
