Haseeb Hussain is an American attorney, legal commentator, and television personality specializing in consumer protection and class action litigation. His legal work has been covered in publications such as The New York Times, USA Today, and Bloomberg Law.[1][2] In 2022, he was a participant on Season 2 of the Love Is Blind reality series on Netflix.[3][4][5][6][7]
Early Life and Education
[edit]Hussain earned a Juris Doctor from Emory University School of Law in 2017 and was admitted to practice law in 2018.[8]
While at Emory Law, he conducted research on Islamophobia and discrimination in the legal system, which was included in a centennial feature on teaching equality at Emory Law.[9]

[edit]Hussain is the founder of Haseeb Legal LLC, a law firm specializing in consumer rights, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), and the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).[10] He has been cited as a legal commentator on consumer protection issues in outlets such as The New York Times, The Sun, and The Daily Dot.[1][11]
Hussain has provided legal analysis on topics including self-checkout theft, lottery disputes, and consumer fraud in publications such as The Sun and Distractify.[12][13]

[edit]Foxtrot and Dom’s Kitchen & Market Class-Action Lawsuit (2024)
[edit]In 2024, Hussain represented employees in a class action lawsuit against Foxtrot Market and Dom’s Kitchen & Market, two specialty grocery chains under Outfox Hospitality. The lawsuit alleged violations of the WARN Act, which requires companies to provide at least 60 days' notice before mass layoffs.[2][14]
The case was widely covered in national media, including USA Today, CBS News, Bloomberg Law, and Law360.[15][16] Following the lawsuit, Outfox Hospitality filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy.[17] The case was also covered by Food & Wine, which examined the broader financial implications of the closures.[18]
