Giovanni Paolo Galdi (born January 3, 1947) is an Italian mathematician, known for his work on the mathematical analysis of the Navier-Stokes equations, particularly on the topics of hydrodynamic stability and fluid-structure interactions. He is a professor of mathematics and mechanical engineering at the University of Pittsburgh, adjunct professor at the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research in Mumbai, as well as co-founder and editor-in-chief of the Journal of Mathematical Fluid Mechanics.
