Ernst Hugo Berger (1836 - 1904) was a German classical philologist.

Biography

He was born on 6 October 1836 in Gera.^[1]

He died on 27 September 1904 in Leipzig.^[2]

Education

He was a member of the Saxon Academy of Sciences and Humanities and the Göttingen Academy of Sciences.^[3]

Career

He was a professor of classics at Leipzig University.^[4]^[5]
