Danish Manzoor Bhat is an Indian journalist currently serving as Editorial Director for Asia and Senior Vice President of Editorial and News Innovation at Newsweek.[1][2] He previously worked as Chief Content Officer for the Asia edition of the International Business Times. He studied at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, Osmania University, and the University of Kashmir. His work spans print, digital, and broadcast media.[2]

In 2024, Bhat conducted an interview with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for Newsweek.[3][4] He is also the founder of The Daanish Foundation, a nonprofit organization based in Srinagar that focuses on education, climate, and development issues.[5] Bhat has received recognition from Jaipur Foot USA in 2022 and from the Government of Jammu and Kashmir in 2024.[6][7]
