Corey Roberts (born June 18, 1989), known professionally as Cornelius Versa, is an American country musician, singer, and songwriter blending elements of western pop, rock, and cinematic storytelling.[1] Known for his dynamic stage presence and genre-bending sound, Versa has been described as "The Crystal Cowboy" for his flamboyant style and country roots.[2] A graduate of Carnegie Mellon University with a BFA in Vocal Performance, Versa made his American opera debut in 2015 with Michigan Opera Theater in the revival of Frida (opera) by Robert Xavier Rodriguez.[3] In 2025, he gained national attention performing Elvis Presley’s song "Burning Love" during the Blind Auditions of Season 27 on NBC’s The Voice.[4]

In addition to his musical endeavors, he attended the 2023 Outfest Los Angeles' Opening Night Gala premiere of Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe, indicating his involvement or interest in the film industry.[5]
