Concerto Grosso Per I New Trolls was the third studio album by Italian progressive rock band New Trolls. The album moves away from the shorter and catchier songs of their first two albums and makes use of long form symphonic rock and heavy progressive rock material. [1] The album is split into two main tracks, with side one being taken up by the title track, which itself is split into four unique sections. Side two is taken up by the twenty minute long jam session, Nella Sala Vuota, Improvvisazioni Dei New Trolls Registrate In Diretta, which includes an extended drum solo. [2]
Concerto Grosso Per I New Trolls is generally considered to be the band's best album by many. [3]
