Reception
[edit]A critic from Telugu Cinemas give rating the film Rating 3/5 and wrote that "Shekar Chandra music is good bgm is okay . Cinematography is neat . Director work is okay lot of confusion in narration few twists are good Editing can be better"[8] The film was reviewed in Full Hyderabad by a critic.[9] The film was reviewed in 123telugu and a critic wrote that "The backdrop of the film is quite interesting as the way the entire story is set in a theater sounds interesting. The way audience gets killed while watching the film has been executed quite well. Comedy by Satya entertains in parts. The way one of the twists is revealed during the break time is very intriguing. Also, the manner in which the hero fights hard to remove the film from his theater looks quite interesting. His performance during these scenes is pretty decent".[10] It was also reviewed in Times of India, whose reviewer gave it an overall score of 5.0 out of 5.[11] A critic from Indiaglitz give rating the film 2.25/5 and wrote that "In terms of actors...Ali Khan, who played the role of Krish, is good to watch. He also earned good marks in terms of acting. Another hero Sohel also did justice to his role. They tried to create comedy in terms of scenes as much as possible. Shakalaka Shankar appeared in a song and disappeared. Gollapudi Maruthirao and heroine Tejaswini's roles are limited. Their acting did not seem to have much scope. As for the technicians, director Lakshman Varma created a curiosity in the first half and carried it well. He revealed the real secret in the second half. The hero made the film run with efforts to save his talkies from the demonic force. The second half should have been more interesting. Shekhar Chandra's music is not good at all. While the tunes are mediocre, the background score is average. Dorai C. Venkat's cinematography is good. Editing is not good. It would have been better if unnecessary scenes had been cut from the film. Even though the salon song is a mass audience attraction, the context in which the song comes seems to be a bit off. There are no horror scenes that scare the audience, nor comedy scenes that make you laugh out loud. The director's idea is good. But it would have been better if he had taken some precautions in the way he carried it..."[12]
