Comment: The best source is The Hindu but that alone is not enough. Other sources either make no mention of the festival or are WP:primary and/or not independent (which includes interviews with those affiliated). S0091 (talk) 14:59, 19 April 2025 (UTC)
Bir Music Festival is a bi-annual indie art and music festival hosted in the paragliding capital of India, Bir, Himachal Pradesh.[1][2] It was founded by Alakhananda Sharma in the year of 2020 to primarily boost the tourism and economy of the pandemic-stricken village of Bir.[3] It has solidified the financial opportunities of the village immensely by attracting several tourists to the village.[4] Bir Music Festival focuses on promoting original compositions of independent artists and has hosted over 450 artists inlcuding acclaimed rock bands like Indian Ocean, Agnee and leading artists like Rashmeet Kaur and Jasleen Loyal.[5][6][3]
The festival also conducts several other activities like dance movement therapy, art workshops, and sound healing, including flea markets exhibiting over 30 start-up brands.[5]
