Brigadier Bhupesh Singh Hada, SC, VSM (born 30 June 1970) is an Indian Army officer and the titular King of Bundi, Rajasthan[1]. A Special Forces officer, he has served as Force Commander of the National Security Guard and Commander of the Siachen Brigade.[2]
Early life and education
[edit]Hada completed his schooling from Sainik School, Chittorgarh and graduated from the National Defence Academy.[3]
Military career
[edit]Commissioned into the Madras Regiment in 1991, Hada later qualified for Special Forces and joined the elite 10th Para (Special Forces).[4] His notable appointments include:
- Force Commander, National Security Guard
- Commander, Siachen Brigade
- Battalion Commander, Special Frontier Force
- Deputy Commandant, High Altitude Warfare School
He served as Senior Military Observer with the United Nations Mission in Ethiopia and Eritrea.[5]
Mountaineering achievements
[edit]In 2012, Hada successfully summited Mount Everest as part of an Indian Army expedition.[6]

Personal life
[edit]In December 2021, Hada was installed as the titular King of Bundi in a traditional ceremony.[2] As the ceremonial head of the Hada Chauhan dynasty, he chairs the Hadauti Foundation which manages Bundi's royal heritage.
