The Ayyubid-Fatimid Conflicts was a period of wars or conflicts that took place between the Ayyubids under Saladin and the Fatimids under their Caliph Al-Adid.One of the Major reasons for the conflict was the Battle of the Blacks in 1169 between the Black-African and Armenian Troops of the Fatimid Army and Saladin's Syrian,Kurdish and Turkish forces[1].Though it is said that the Caliph hadn't been involved in the plotting of the Battle, Al-Adid was still rendered suspicious in the eyes of Saladin and his Commander's and Soldiers leading to the War[2].
