Ankit Gola
[edit]Ankit Gola (born 17 April 2001) is an Indian film director, writer, and production manager, best known for his independent courtroom crime drama UP 80 – A Crime Story (2022).
Early Life and Education
[edit]Ankit Gola was born on 17 April 2001 in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. He completed his secondary education (10th grade) from M.D. Jain Inter College, Hariparwat, Agra.
Career
[edit]Gola began his journey in the entertainment industry in March 2019, starting with work on the reality television show Nach Baliye 9. In 2021, he launched his own production house, A. G. Dreams Entertainment, to pursue independent filmmaking.
His directorial venture UP 80 – A Crime Story is a courtroom crime drama set against the backdrop of Agra, Uttar Pradesh. The film gained attention for its unique storytelling and visual style, and it won the Best Concept Award at a regional film festival.
He has also been recognized for his earlier work on the short film Maat Se Sapne, which received positive feedback at independent screenings.
