Angkor Wildlife & Aquarium is a wildlife park and aquarium located approximately 30 kilometers southeast of Siem Reap, Cambodia. The park spans 100 hectares along National Road 6 in Kbon village, Khchas commune, Sotr Nikum district. Developed with an investment of over $70 million[1], construction began on April 29, 2019, with the first phase completed in 2022.
The facility includes two aquariums with a total volume exceeding 10,000 cubic meters[2], housing a range of freshwater and saltwater species. Notable freshwater species include the critically endangered Siamese tiger perch, giant pangasius catfish, Giant barb weighing over 300 kilograms, Mekong giant catfish reaching up to three meters in length, giant freshwater stingray, Mekong featherback, and marbled whipray. Saltwater species include white tip reef sharks, nurse sharks, spotted eagle rays, stingrays, Zebra shark and others.
The wildlife park section features various animal, reptiles, aviary zones, including species such as Bengal tigers, sun bears, otters, royal turtles, Red-breasted parakeet, Binturong, King cobra, and Siamese crocodiles. The complex also includes a floating market, food and beverage outlets, and retail shops.Angkor Wildlife & Aquarium is a member of the Southeast Asian Zoos and Aquariums Association (SEAZA) [3] and is designed as an educational and recreational facility for both local and International visitors to the Siem Riep
