Andrea Laing is an American actress, host, and comedian. She is known for her roles in the films Adult Swim Yule Log, Pain Hustlers, and Strays, as well as appearances in television series including The Game and Greenleaf.

Early life and education

Laing was born in High Point, North Carolina, and raised between the United States and Jamaica. She attended private school and was active in chorus and school theatre. Laing earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism from High Point University, with minors in Criminal Justice and Sociology.[1]

Career

Laing began acting in 2008, with early television credits including roles in Teen Wolf, NCIS: New Orleans, The Resident, and Dopesick.[2] Her film credits include Richard Jewell (2019), Honk for Jesus. Save Your Soul. (2022), Pain Hustlers (2023), and Strays (2023).

She portrayed Zoe in the horror-comedy film Adult Swim Yule Log and reprised the role in the sequel Adult Swim Yule Log 2: Branchin' Out (2024). The sequel received positive attention, including an honorable mention in *Variety*'s Best Horror Movies of 2024.[3][4]

In addition to acting, Laing has worked as a red carpet host and contributed to entertainment programming. She has also pursued comedy, performing in various television and film projects.

Laing was nominated for an Audie Award for her narration of the audiobook A Song Below Water.[5]

Personal life

Laing is involved with philanthropic initiatives and has supported organizations such as the Atlanta Humane Society and the Boys & Girls Club.[6] She has also expressed interests in travel, wellness, and fitness.
