Aarti Gupta Bhadauria (born 1983) is an Indian sculptor based in Bangalore.[1]

She is best known for her abstract art sculptures in terracotta, creating sculptures that depict waves of human emotions in abstract form.[2]. She is trying to promote terracotta, usually linked to folk art or pottery, as a medium for modern art[1][2][3][4]. According to Aatonau, a Japan based contemporary art blog, "Aarti Gupta Bhadauria’s sculptures are distinguished by their rhythmic, organic forms, which invite the viewer to engage with them from multiple perspectives. Using terracotta as her medium, she creates abstract works that seem to defy gravity, achieving a sense of fluidity and movement. Her sculptures are free from the constraints of armature, allowing them to rise and fall with a natural grace that reflects the ethereal qualities of human emotion." [4]

Her work has so far exhibited both in India and the USA and received several international awards and honors.[1][2][5]. She completed Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) with a specialization in sculptures from Govt. Institute of Fine Arts, Gwalior in 2004[3][1][2][4][5]. In 2009, she moved to Bangalore and decided to promote the ancient medium of clay and terracotta[1][2]
