Advocate Yogesh Mishra hails from a well-revered Brahmin[2] family in Lucknow with deep roots in culture and tradition. His father, Vijay Kumar Mishra, was a successful contractor with a reputation for working diligently, being honest to a fault, and contributing in a big way to development projects in the area. A self-made man himself, Vijay Kumar Mishra not only gave material security to the family but was also a role model to stay focused and be honest. Yogesh’s mother, Maya Mishra, a devoted homemaker, played a pivotal role in laying down the moral foundation of the family. With her gentle and supportive nature, she taught the family members the virtues of humility, compassion, and perseverance. As a child nurtured in this wholesome milieu[3], Yogesh nourished a deep sense of responsibility, discipline, and empathy that later guided him to approach law practice. As a child raised in a Brahmin household where education, respect for tradition, and a sense of duty were paramount, Yogesh was encouraged to aim for academic distinction and a life of service. Advocate Yogesh Mishra’s early life established a firm foundation to practice law. He attended and cleared his 12th standard from a SR. Inter College in Lucknow, where he was remembered for his discipline, keen intellect, and uncompromising participation in debates and cultural activities. His academic interest and leadership were visible since childhood. After completing schooling, he obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree from Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru P.G. Degree College, where he gained a deep insight into business and financial affairs, something that later augmented his legal knowledge. Afire with a desire to serve the people and deliver justice to them, Yogesh obtained an LL.B. degree from Justice Law College, one of the leading law colleges in the area. His early life was spent with a commitment to study, a desire to know more, and an increasing sense of responsibility towards society, all of which led him to become a successful legal professional.

Career

Advocate Yogesh Mishra started practising law in 2015 with the eminent law firm of S. Tuli and Company where he received good hands-on experience in managing various cases and learning the finer aspects of legal practice. In this initial part of his career, he gained expertise in research, client advisory, and case preparation. However, in pursuit of wider expertise, Yogesh turned to tax and worked extensively as a TAX and GST expert. Through the years, he established a sound foundation in financial and commercial law, gaining the faith and respect of many clients with the accuracy and expertise he displayed. In 2023, with a renewed sense of purpose and duty to deliver justice and a new enthusiasm to be an advocate and to plead cases in Court, he joined the legal profession full time. Advocate Yogesh Mishra has since been building a steady career, taking up civil, criminal, and tax cases, and in course of time, emerged as a well-rounded and ethical practitioner in legal circles.

Advocate Yogesh Mishra shares a happy personal life with wife, Vanshika Shukla. Vanshika is working towards a Master’s degree in Philosophy, a testament to her intense interest in critical thinking and ethical research. Though Yogesh is wholly engaged in the legal profession, with their philosophical studies, an introspective and contemplative element is added to their relationship.
