Bids
[edit]No bids have officially been announced, however World Rugby chairman, Brett Robinson has stated that Japan,[2][3] Spain,[4][5] and Italy all "have expressed firm interest in making bids."[1] Qais Al Dhalai, president of Asia Rugby, has stated that a joint bid between Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia is very likely.[3][6]
As of April 2025, Spain is considered to be the preferred host.[1][4]
