The 2025–26 Duke Blue Devils men's basketball team will represent Duke University during the 2025–26 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Blue Devils will be led by fourth-year head coach Jon Scheyer. The Blue Devils play their home games at Cameron Indoor Stadium in Durham, North Carolina, as members of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC).
Previous season
[edit]The Blue Devils finished the 2024–25 season 35–4 and 19–1 in ACC play to finish in second place. As the first seed in the ACC tournament, they earned a bye to the quarterfinals where they dominated the tournament. They received an at-large bid to the 2025 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament where they were the first seed in the East Region. They faced St. Mary's in the first round. They won this matchup to move on to the round of 32, where they routed 9th seed Baylor. Duke then faced the number four seed, Arizona, whom they defeated 100–93, advancing to the Elite Eight for the second time under head coach Jon Scheyer. After defeating second seed Alabama, 85–65, the Blue Devils advanced to their first Final Four since the 2021-22 season, which was the last season under Hall of Fame head coach, Mike Krzyzewski, however, despite leading 5 points with 33 seconds left in the final quarter, Duke would be upset by Houston, 70–67, ending their run to a potential national championship.
