10ZiG Technology
[edit]10ZiG Technology is a desktop virtualization company that manufactures hardware endpoints (also referred to as thin clients or zero clients) and endpoint management software known as "The 10ZiG Manager" to create virtual desktops.[1][2][3]
10ZiG Technology (also known as 10ZiG) is a privately held company headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona, with offices in the UK, Germany, and Australia.[4]
History
[edit]10ZiG was originally founded in 2003 by Martin Pladgeman as BOSaNOVA.[5]
BOSaNOVA initially focused on IBM iSeries/AS400 technology and e-Twinax Controllers. As the company expanded into server-based computing and desktop virtualization, it rebranded as 10ZiG Technology in 2009 to reflect this strategic shift.[6]
Its headquarters are located in Phoenix, Arizona, and Leicester, United Kingdom, with branch offices in Germany and Australia.[7][8]
The company has collaborated with VMware,[9] Citrix,[10] Microsoft,[11] Imprivata,[12] Sennheiser,[13] Parallels,[14][15][16] and ThinPrint.[17][18] It is considered one of the top providers of thin client systems.[19]
Products and services
[edit]10ZiG provides endpoints that support Citrix HDX, VMware Horizon Blast Extreme, and Teradici PCoIP protocols,[20][21][22] as well as Microsoft RDP.
Devices run on multiple operating systems including Linux (PeakOS), Windows 7, 8, 10, and NOS™ (Zero). Features include support for dual, triple, and quad monitors, Smart Cards, legacy ports, wireless, fiber, HDMI, PoE, DVI, and Display Ports with VESA mounting.[23]
