.exe, a genre of creepypastas involving haunted video games

[edit]A term referring to secondary creative horror doujin games with game names ending in .exe . The first .exe is Sonic.exe . As mentioned in the document, Sonic.EXE was a creepypasta that was posted on the creepypasta wiki, and someone implemented the contents of the ghost story into a game as it is. The creepypasta itself was buried because it was poorly made, but the third creation of it strangely gained cult popularity, and horror doujinshi games with similar formats and names became popular.
